This Alabaster vase is manufactured by hand, using alabaster from every commercial quarry in Egypt. Alabaster is a natural, translucent marble which can vary in color from a clear lemon color to a rich shade of mango orange or even a very light cafe au lait. Each piece will be unique and variation in color from the photo should not be considered a flaw.

It was broken, so is being returned. However, it was not the color at all depicted in the photo online, which is more amber/brown. It was white with very light rings of amber. Had it not been broken, I likely still would have kept it a it ws still beautifully crafted.
