Ð.This size seems to be the best compromise for growing figs, avocado, and dragon fruits in containers that have to be moved from time to time, such as in winter protection. The 15 size holds about 11-12 gallons of soil. Not as big as those 25 gallon pots, but still able to be moved around without too much difficulty. They look like a commercial grade black nursery pot. They did have an unusual smell, like gunpowder, when they were first removed from the shipping box, but that dissipated after awhile. For me, this is the best pot I’ve found for my backyard containers- big enough for good size root growth, but still able to move without a forklift. These may be called 2 gal nursery pots but they are not tapered like the photos. You can buy these used at a nursery for 50 cents. Very disappointing. These are #5 pots, about 2 gallons they are not 5 gallon. They are still sturdy and I found other uses for them but way too small for the original purpose. These are NOT 5-gallon containers. Their capacity might be 3-1/2 or 4-gallons but they are NOT 5-gallons. Igood quality, sturdy, accurate sizing, maybe a little expensive?Like another customer stated, these pots are definitely not 5 gallons, perhaps 3 at the most. Sounds like false advertising to me. And Like another customer stated these things stink of the lowest part of hell. I am not sure what that smell is, but is very offensive. I was thinking about getting the 15-gallon set but changed my mind after receiving the pots. I will probably keep them and just not buy from this seller again. The container is strong enough to hold full soil. 15 Gallon is the right size for most of home grown vegetables.
